Our principals have spent over 20 years in structured credit and asset backed capital markets, successfully trading credit exposures across developed markets and through multiple cycles and events.

Trade Execution

Extensive experience in executing and managing trades across a broad range of markets and instruments, coupled with unrivalled access to markets.

Liquid Credit

The team capitalises on deep access to public markets, derivatives know-how and fundamental analysis to drive liquid credit investment strategies, supported by a robust and disciplined risk management approach. Led by CIO Sofiane Gharred, Selwood’s flagship Liquid Credit strategy focuses on persistent mis-pricings in investment grade credit primarily in Europe. We aim to deliver uncorrelated, attractive absolute returns across credit cycles with low volatility.

Private & Structured Credit

Leveraging Selwood’s established pricing and risk infrastructure, we seek to identify and structure private credit investment solutions which are resilient and have low correlation to public markets, whilst capturing a ‘complexity premium’. The Private and Structured Credit team, led by CIO Francesco Cuccovillo, leverages its broad network and deep product expertise to source transactions and perform detailed reviews of structures, underlying collateral pools, and relative value pricing, with a particular emphasis on banking regulatory capital opportunities.

Long-Only & Bespoke Credit

Our affiliate, Selwood Asset Management (France) SAS, offers Long-Only Credit, ESG Credit, and bespoke solutions - including Solvency II and Yield Enhancement - designed with the aim of outperforming traditional fixed-income allocations in both risk-adjusted returns and liquidity.

Led by CIO Karim Moussalem, this dynamic long/short strategy aims to deliver strong, risk-adjusted returns by identifying high-conviction opportunities mainly in European large- and mid-cap stocks.
